The Cataloging Number increases in increments of 10 between the token listings for a designated town. The token denomination is indicated in the last number field of the listing.
Numbers reset with the beginning of each town.

most accurate directory is used as the reference. The year of the directory listing is the
estimated time when the token was issued.
Some establishments were in business for many years.

The types of establishments named will be self explanatory for the most part. Some general names like theater cover the time from live theater to movies. Some abbreviations will also be used for the longer business names.

The scale is from 1 to 7 rarities with 1 being the rarest and a value scale of A to P with A the most valuable. RV=1A represents a token that is probably the only example known and is highly desirable. There are highly desirable tokens and very rare tokens that would not meet both criteria of the RV=1A rating.

Certainty of attribution scale is a method to determine the accuracy of the attribution given to a maverick token. Maverick meaning the location of the token is not self attributing. Token doesn’t have a town and state name. 1 is 100% accurate to 5 with a slight percentage of accuracy.

The physical properties of the token are described with a letter code representing the types of material. The shape of the token is described with an abbreviation of its geometric form name. The token is measured across the flat areas for its size in millimeters.

The "RV” acronym represents the intrinsic relationship between the rarity and value of a token. The relationship equates to the “Desirability” of a token.

CERTAINTY OF ATTRIBUTION
( CA )
CA=1 Designation represents a 100% attribution. This designation is assigned to tokens with a cumulative set of facts which would give the token a certainty of being correctly identified.
EXAMPLE 1 Business name, proprietor name, street address that match accepted business records, listing, directories.
EXAMPLE 2 Published ads, pictures, historical reference of the token.
EXAMPLE 3 Token mfg business delivery records
EXAMPLE 4 Attributed by issuing owner and verified.
CA=2 Designation represents a 99% to 75% attribution. A combination of facts that would reasonable attributes the token to a given location.
EXAMPLE 1 Token has a business name and initials, both would match business records.
EXAMPLE 2 Token has a street address and business name, both would match business records or acceptable reference.
CA=3 Designation represents a 74% to 50% attribution. The token has at least two firm facts that would be a strong possibility of a correct attribution.
EXAMPLE 1 The token has two initials and last name of the proprietor. Matching a business listing.
CA=4 Designation assigned to a token with a possible chance of a correct attribution. 49% to 25%. A strong discerning fact has to be present to acquire the assignment.
EXAMPLE 1 Unusual name of business or proprietor matches business listings.
CA=5 Assigned to a token that has multiple weak possibilities of attributing it to a location. 24% to 1%.
EXAMPLE 1 Token historically attributed to the location without a dissenting fact to dissuade this attribution.
EXAMPLE 2 Multiple tokens found at a local and some pertinent facts exist to verify the tokens to that location.
